Explore the achievements and influence of Tahj Fisher within the university community.

Meet Tahj Fisher, a sophomore at the University of Memphis whose determination and involvement are making a mark on campus. A proud native of St. Louis, Missouri, and a graduate of Lutheran North High School, Tahj is a BSN Pre-Nursing major with aspirations to become an ICU nurse.

Driven to Serve
Tahj’s passion for healthcare shines through her academic and volunteer pursuits. She is actively laying the foundation for her future as a compassionate and skilled nurse, gaining hands-on experience as a volunteer at the Church Health Medical Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee.

Making an Impact
Beyond her academic focus, Tahj is deeply involved in campus life. She works as a Desk Assistant for the University of Memphis Resident Life, a role that allows her to connect with and support her peers in their living communities.

Campus Organizations
Tahj’s leadership and commitment to excellence extend to her involvement in various organizations, including:

NAACP: National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, advocating for social justice and equity.

PAUSE: Professional Assertive United Sisters of Excellence, empowering women to excel academically and professionally.

Black Student Association (BSA): A hub for fostering community and celebrating Black culture on campus.

BSA Fashion Show Model: Showcasing her confidence and creativity on the runway.

Hometown Pride and Family Support
Tahj credits much of her motivation and values to her supportive parents, Shantay Savage and Edward Fisher II, who have instilled in her the importance of service, dedication, and hard work.

Tahj Fisher is a shining example of what it means to balance academic ambition with meaningful community involvement. Her journey as a Pre-Nursing major, campus leader, and advocate for excellence positions her as a role model for students at the University of Memphis and beyond.
