Calling all chess enthusiasts! Register now for the Black Knights Summer Chess Tournament in Cherokee on August 3rd and 10th!

Black Knights Summer Chess Tournament Set for August 3rd and 10th at Cherokee’s Parks & Recreation Center**

**St. Louis, MO** – The Legacy Institute STL, in collaboration with Parks & Recreation Centers, is excited to announce the Black Knights Summer Chess Tournament, taking place on August 3rd and August 10th at the Cherokee Parks & Recreation Center, located at 500 S. Jefferson. 

The event promises a fun and competitive atmosphere for chess enthusiasts of all ages. Check-in will begin at 10 a.m. each day, and participants will be treated to complimentary breakfast and lunch. 

**Tournament Details:

– **Dates:** August 3rd and August 10th

– **Location:** Cherokee’s Parks & Recreation Center, 500 S. Jefferson

– **Check-in Time:** 10 a.m. each day

– **Meals:** Free breakfast and lunch for children

**Age Divisions:

– **Little League:** Ages 8-10

– **Junior Varsity:** Ages 11-14

– **Varsity:** Ages 15-18

– **Adults:** Ages 19 and up

The tournament will feature awards and prizes for the top competitors in each division, making this a fantastic opportunity for players to showcase their skills and enjoy a day of chess and community engagement.

“We are thrilled to host this tournament and provide a platform for chess players of all ages to come together and compete,” said Terran Rome, founder of Legacy Institute STL. “Our goal is to foster a love for the game and create a supportive environment where players can learn and grow.”
