St. Louis, Mo. – To celebrate Father’s Day, St. Louis’ own Brian and Thomas Owens are performing live together at Sheldon Concert Hall for their second annual “Duets with Dad” concert. The event takes place Sunday, June 16 at 6 p.m.

The concert will highlight music from the viral father-son duo’s upcoming debut album, “Forever Young,” which features a collection of covers, including Bridge Over Troubled Water, I’ve Got A Name, Count On Me and Bob Dylan’s Forever Young (https://youtu.be/MTmCq9q4IRY?si), which features father-son duo Michael and Dylan McDonald. The album also features performances by the Owens family (Brian’s wife Amanda and their kids) and the late great St. Louis jazz legend, David Sanborn.

“I am so excited to share a new Father’s Day experience with both live and online audiences,” said Brian Owens. “This year’s concert is taking place in my favorite space to sing in with new music and the official debut of my wife and kids sharing the stage with Dad and me. It will truly be an event to remember and the perfect launch off of Forever Young and the Owens Family!”

Tickets are now on sale at www.brianowenssoul.com or www.MetroTix.com. Tickets are $35-$45. A $25 livestream ticket is available for those unable to attend in person. VIP tickets ($75) include premium seating, an exclusive pre-show reception, and complimentary parking.

Duets with Dad is supported by the Regional Arts Commission,  Refuge and Restoration,  The Kranzberg Arts Foundation and BOS Media Group.

About Brian and Thomas Owens:

Brian Owens is an Americana Soul artist whose music reflects St. Louis: a city infused with blues, soul, and gospel, resulting in a style that is distinctly his own. He has been featured with fellow St. Louisans Michael McDonald and David Sanborn, both touring and recording. He’s released eight solo albums, including “Love Came Down” (2020) and “Soul of Cash” (2017). His father Thomas Owens is a Vietnam veteran and pastor who chose faith and family over a career in the music industry. He worked as a food scientist with Nestle Ralston for 40 years until his retirement.

Brian and Thomas captivated the online world over a decade ago with their powerful rendition of Sam Cooke’s timeless classic, “A Change Is Gonna Come,” which has 116M views and counting on YouTube (https://youtu.be/cEXhZ8PwM-Yand). Since then, their passionate, soul-stirring harmonies and genuine connection have garnered millions of fans worldwide. In 2023, Brian and Thomas brought TODAY show hosts to tears with their live performance of “Stand By Me” on the national morning show’s Father’s Day episode (bit.ly/OwensTODAY).
