Shark Scavenger Hunt
Dive into adventure with our shark-themed scavenger hunt! Discover fascinating shark facts and get ready to embark on a thrilling quest filled with “fin-tastic fun” for all! Using signs at each habitat, help the shark solve riddles along the way!
American Museum of Natural History Shark Exhibit
Take a deep dive with Sharks from the American Museum of Natural History. Discover ancient sharks, discover new discoveries about sharks, learn about their sixth sense, and more with this special exhibit on loan from the American Museum of Natural History. St. Louis Aquarium is the first location in the US where you can see this exhibit!
Sharks is organized by the American Museum of Natural History, New York (amnh.org) with support from Fundación Coppel A.C. The Museum gratefully acknowledges Warner Bros Discovery for its generous support of Sharks. A selection of footage in Sharks has been provided by Discovery’s Shark Week.
Shark Nursery
Explore our special “shark nursery” area, where you can witness the wonder of shark eggs up close. Get a glimpse into their fascinating journey from egg to majestic predator.
Sharks and Ray Touch Pool
Are you brave enough to touch a shark? Come find out at our touch pools! Using a safe two-finger touch, you can interact with two species of sharks in our touch pools. These hands-on encounters offer a unique opportunity to learn more about these animals!
Shark Artifact Cart
Marvel at an ancient megalodon tooth, a relic from a time when these colossal predators roamed the oceans. Plus, discover a collection of shark and ray teeth that will leave you in awe of nature’s wonders.

Delight your little ones with a captivating tale about these incredible creatures during our daily shark storytime sessions. Their imaginations will soar as they learn fascinating facts and embark on a literary underwater adventure
Shark Feeding Spectacle
10am daily.
Witness the awe-inspiring sight of sharks being fed daily! Immerse yourself in the thrill as our experts reveal the feeding times, which will be shared upon your arrival. Viewing areas vary daily, please see a team member upon arrival for best location
Shark Mascot Appearances
11am daily and 3pm on Fri-Sun.
Get ready to meet our friendly shark mascot, who will be making appearances throughout the day. Capture the perfect photo and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Dive Shows
1:15 pm daily.
Brace yourself for an adrenaline-pumping showcase focused entirely on sharks. Our skilled divers will leave you captivated with their daring maneuvers and enchanting performances. Dive shows are offered at various times throughout the day.
Rope Bridge Adventure
2-4pm Mon-Thur & 2-5pm Fri- Sun.
Take a thrilling journey across our open rope bridge. Feel the excitement as you navigate your way through the air, surrounded by the beauty of our shark-inspired surroundings.
*Closed toe shoes required, sandals and high-heeled shoes are not permitted. Participates must be at least 5 years of age to visit rope bridge.
Enjoy “Friday Night Happy Hour” in June
Friday evenings from 4-7pm throughout the month of June.
For our adult visitors (21 and up) enjoy a complimentary beverage from our Anheuser-Busch Beverage Container as they walk through the Aquarium experience. Our visitors 12 and under will receive a complimentary pair of Shark themed sunglasses!
