Affinia Healthcare is a clinic that provides primary and preventive health services to underserved residents of St. Louis City and County. This is a place where Dr. Kendra Holmes would start her legacy.
Dr. Kendra Holmes is a St. Louis native and graduate of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. Holmes’s career at Affinia Healthcare started in 2003 as a staff pharmacist. After two years of working nonstop, she was promoted to Director of Pharmacy Services.
Kendra’s hard work paid off even more as she was promoted to Director of Pharmacy and Radiology services in 2012. She was the Vice President/Chief Operating Officer for Affinia Healthcare for the past eight years.
On January 1, 2023, Dr. Kendra Holmes was honored with her new role as President & CEO for Affinia Healthcare. The Affinia Healthcare Board of Directors first announced Dr. Holmes’ promotion in March 2022.
What makes this new role prominent is that Dr. Kendra Holmes is the first woman, and the first Black person, to be selected as the organization’s President and CEO in its 117-year history.
Dr. Holmes is actively involved in the community and has received numerous honors, awards, and accolades throughout her career. She continues to make strides to make sure that Affinia Healthcare sticks to its core values and principles for offering the best services to the people of the community.
