Eagle Charitable Foundation receives $15,000 grant from Missouri Humanities Council for Destined II Soar program, helping students reach their full potential
The Missouri Humanities Council has awarded a grant of $15,000 to the Eagle Charitable Foundation in support of the project, “Destined II SOAR.” The MHC is the only statewide agency in Missouri devoted exclusively to the humanities education for citizens of all ages. It has served as a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities since 1971.
“Destined II SOAR” is a television newsmagazine dedicated to highlighting entrepreneurs and community leaders which airs on KDNL ABC 30 and KPLR Channel 11. Beginning November 2024, Destined II SOAR will feature interviews with fine arts, culture, history, religion, literary and performing arts subjects.
“We are very excited about our new partnership with the Missouri Humanities Council and look forward to increasing the depth of interviews on Destined II SOAR,” said Dr. Angelia D. Bills, Executive Director of the Eagle Charitable Foundation.
