Empowering the Black Business Community in St. Louis through Strategic Partnerships

Dr. Marvin Steele, President of Heartland St. Louis Black Chamber of Commerce and Dr. Linda Ogbah Faas, President at African Chamber of Commerce STL. Louis along with Arinola Solanke, Chairlady of the African Chamber of Commerce STL, recently co hosted the “We Are One” Moving Forward, Together, conversation with Dr. Treasure Redmond, Executive Director of The Community Archive on November 14th at the Heartland Black Chamber located 929 N. Spring Avenue here in St. Louis, MO.

Each person in the accompanying photos shared in on a very historic strategic partnership “Aimed at strengthening and empowering communities through shared resources, mentorship, and economic development.”

“This “We Are One” initiative marks the first time these two influential organizations have joined forces, setting a powerful example of unity and cooperation to uplift Black owned businesses and foster economic resilience. Together, they are establishing a network of mutual support that will benefit community members, entrepreneurs, and future leaders alike.

The partnership focuses on leveraging shared resources and building a foundation for economic growth, with a commitment to mentorship and a shared vision for long-term, sustainable opportunities.

By bringing together the expertise and reach of both organizations, the African Chamber and Heartland Black Chamber aim to expand access to vital resources, create meaningful business connections, and build a stronger economy that supports everyone. This historic union signals a shared dedication to creating pathways toward economic empowerment and lasting change in the com m unities they serve.”
