The first sign of evidence dealing with trauma is within the beginning of time. Adam and Eve were the first caregivers to experience a tragic loss through the death of their own son, Abel. Throughout the Bible there were many traumatic incidents that took place.
The biggest of them all that was a sure sign evidence, when Jesus Christ was placed upon a wooden and rugged cross. With long steal nails, hammered into his flesh. Sin, an immoral act considered to be a transgression against divine law. Can also mean to be selfish, shameful, harmful, or alienating. In layman’s terms we all struggle with one sin or another and not one is greater than the next. But through acknowledgment and repentance we are able to be better and healed from our sins.
Furthermore, traumatic events continued to occur throughout the history of mankind. According to the Bible in the book of Genesis chapter 15 verse 13. God told Abram that his descendants would be slaves in a foreign land for 400 years. This number is also mentioned in the book of Acts chapter 7 verse 6, and in Exodus chapter 12 verse 41 says that the Israelites were in Egypt for 430 years.
