September 25, 2024 marked a significant milestone for our community as Betty Jean Kerr People’s Health Centers celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new state-of-the-art 3D mammography unit at both our FlorissantandDelmar locations, reinforcing our dedication to advancing women’s health services.
The event gathered influential community leaders, including Senator Brian K. Williams, representatives from theFlorissant Mayor’s Office, Chief Doyle of the Ferguson Police Department, St. Louis County Councilwoman Shalonda Webb, Andwele Jolly, President and CEO of theSt. Louis Integrated Health Network (IHN), Sherill Jackson, President and Founder of The Breakfast Club, andKMOV News 4. Their presence and support were key to the event’s success, underscoring the importance of expanding access to cutting-edge healthcare services for women in the community.
In addition to unveiling the 3D mammography units, Betty Jean Kerr People’s Health Centers provided free mammograms at both the Florissant and Delmar locations, as well as free COVID vaccines and at-home testing kits.
