Network will host the FREE life-changing event Substance Use Disorder Education and NARCAN Training for Men: A Vital Event For St. Louis on Saturday, August 10, at AH TV! This event aims to empower men in the St. Louis Metropolitan area and raise awareness about substance use disorder. Attendees will receive free training and resources to help save lives from opioid overdoses. Lunch will be provided.
Dr. Echols emphasizes the importance of this initiative, “We are committed to addressing substance use disorder among men in our community. By providing education and resources, we aim to empower men to make a positive impact and potentially save lives.”
This event will feature practical sessions to equip attendees with the knowledge and skills to recognize and respond to opioid overdoses. Additionally, every attendee will be provided Narcan and other valuable resources to share with their family and friends. These resources will support their efforts to educate others about the risks of substance use disorder and aid in the recovery of those battling substance use issues.
