Holding the future in one hand and the past in the other, this program features composers who reach for the stars.
St. Louis composer Blake Hernton synthesizes the influences of his sound journey to present his new work for voice and strings. A member of the Boulanger dynasty sets the stage for a contemporary tribute and the distinctive voice of Jessie Montgomery intersects with the legacy of Leonard Bernstein in a work that illuminates and inspires.
Celebrating the past, present and future, this program sparkles with possibilities.
St. Louis composer Blake Hernton returns with a brand new piece commissioned by Chamber Project St. Louis.
Hernton is the recipient of the pilot program for our Composer Incubator Project (CIP).
CPSTL celebrates the success of recent Grammy Award winner Jessie Montgomery in her LUNAR SONGS,
