    The SLPS Learn and Earn Internship Program is an incredible opportunity for high school seniors to gain valuable work experience while earning money. Tailored for students looking to elevate their skills and prepare for life after graduation, this innovative program connects seniors with internships at local businesses, non-profits, government organizations, and even Fortune 500 companies.

    What is the Learn and Earn Internship Program?

    The Learn and Earn program aims to transform the high school senior experience by equipping students with 21st-century skills like financial literacy, job readiness, and real-world work exposure. Internships are matched to students based on their unique interests and skill sets. Whether you’re interested in tech, marketing, education, or finance, this program has something for everyone.

    Benefits of the Internship Program

    Students participating in Learn and Earn enjoy numerous advantages:

    Real-World Experience to enhance resumes and college applications

    Financial Literacy and Job Readiness Training to prepare for post-graduation success

    Program Requirements

    To be eligible, students must:

    Maintain a C or better GPA during their senior year.

    Complete an online application by September 19, 2024.

    Attend financial literacy and job readiness training.

    Meet academic qualifications set by the school.

    Adherence to professional expectations at the host company and consistent communication with counselors and mentors is also crucial.
