Join us for “Hearts in Harmony,” an inspiring evening of entertainment and philanthropy hosted by Guy Torry in February. Over $50,000 was raised for local organizations, with proceeds benefiting Almost Home, Loyola Academy, Little Bit Foundation, and Jack and Jill of America.
Jack and Jill of America, Inc., is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2 –19, dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty.

The St. Louis chapter received a burst of energy from a total 15 new members initiated last year, a significant upswing in membership since the decline of the Coronavirus pandemic. The chapter won the organization covenant award in 2024 by being recognized as a “Five-Star Chapter of Excellence.”
The JJSTL hosted a new fundraiser “Hearts in Harmony: an inspired evening of entertainment and philanthropy,” hosted by Guy Torry in February. This fundraiser raised over $50,000 for local organizations. The proceeds from the benefit will be distributed to Almost Home, Loyola Academy of St. Louis, Little Bit Foundation and The Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Foundation in a ceremonial presentation on May 6, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Rung for Women.
Instilling leadership values is the signature for today’s Jack and Jill of America members. Jack and Jill St. Louis children in different grade groups took leadership roles in their own fundraising and charitable group activities and events. They have donated food and packed boxes for the hungry. They sold gourmet popcorn to raise funds to buy books for local libraries.
It’s heartening to see many Jack and Jill children who go to highly competitive schools enjoy themselves at an event such as UniverSoul Circus, and unite to help other children in St. Louis. JJSTL partnered with UniverSoul Circus to collect school supplies to distribute to partner organization Covenant House. The group also built a literacy room at Boys & Girls Club and filled it with 2,000 books by African-American authors.
Please join us at the ceremonial presentation on May 6 as we celebrate giving back to our community and enriching the lives of all children throughout St. Louis.
WHEN: Tuesday, May 6 at 7pm
WHERE: Rung for Women, 2717 Sidney Street, 63104
