Honoring Keshia Walker, President of Insights Marketing, Celebrating 25 Years of Success
More than 300 Tickets Sold in 24 Hours

Tuskegee, AL – Wednesday, October 16, 2024: The National Business League (NBL)® is excited to announce its 37th Annual National Black Supplier Reception, hosted by none other than NFL Hall of Famer and entrepreneur Jerome “The Bus” Bettis. This highly anticipated event, presented during the 2024 NMSDC Annual Conference & Exchange and MBDA National MED Week, will take place on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm EST at Prime on Peachtree, a premier Black-owned 5-star steak and seafood restaurant in downtown Atlanta.

This year’s reception will feature a special tribute to Keshia Walker, President of Insights Marketing, who will be honored for 25 years of success in the marketing industry. With more than 300 tickets sold within 24 hours of the event announcement, the reception promises to be a sold-out gathering of some of the most influential figures in Black business.

“This event continues to serve as a cornerstone for Black suppliers to forge powerful partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders,” said Dr. Ken Harris, President/CEO of The National Business League. “With leaders like Jerome Bettis and Keshia Walker headlining the event, we’re elevating the conversation around economic empowerment for Black businesses and celebrating excellence across industries.”

The reception will provide an unparalleled opportunity for Black suppliers to network with Fortune 500 corporations, public and private sector leaders, and government officials. It will also spotlight the NBL’s National Black Supplier Development Program and its newest 2024/25 cohort. With the support of partners like Comerica Bank, Cummins, DTE, Ford, General Motors, Lear, Magna, Stellantis, and Toyota, the program secured an extraordinary $100 million in contract opportunities for the 2023/24 cohort, opening doors for Black businesses in corporate supply chains. The NBL continues to be a leader in connecting Black businesses with key corporate stakeholders, ensuring growth and sustainability.
