Boys & Girls Clubs bringing back the fun & competitive spirit of high school basketball tournaments
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) Mathews-Dickey Club (MDC) proudly hosts the first Annual High School Hoops Tournament on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Mathews-Dickey Club, 4245 N. Kingshighway Blvd., St. Louis, Mo. 63115.
The first game featuring KIPP St. Louis vs. Metro High School begins at 3 PM. The following is the scheduled line-up:
3:00 PM KIPP St. Louis vs. Metro HS
4:30 PM Ritenour HS vs Normandy HS
6:00 PM Oakwood Academy JV vs Lutheran North HS
7:30 PM Oakwood Academy Varsity vs Lutheran North HS
Top area players will participate in this fun yet competitive tournament, which we invite families to support. BGCSTL’s new President/CEO, Brandon Williams, said, “We’re excited to host our first Annual High School Hoops Tournament. We are bringing back the fun of competitive sports. This event will be entertaining and family-friendly!”
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. BGCSTL provides after-school, teen, sports, and summer programs to youth across the Bi-State Region while also providing a safe place for them to learn and grow. The Clubs serve youth across the region at twelve locations, including (Adams Park Club, Bethalto Club, Hazelwood Elementary School Club, Herbert Hoover Club, Mathews-Dickey Club, and the Teen Center of Excellence). We also operate Mentor St. Louis and the St. Louis Internship Program.
