St. Louis CITY SC claimed a 2-0 victory over San Jose Earthquakes at CITYPARK in a midweek MLS clash. Eduard Löwen and Hosei Kijima scored for CITY SC, who secured their fourth home win and fifth clean sheet of the season.

ST. LOUIS (July 3, 2024) – St. Louis CITY SC defeated San Jose Earthquakes 2-0 in a midweek clash at CITYPARK. Eduard Löwen opened the scoring with a strike from distance in the 28th minute, burying the shot off a feed from Indiana Vassilev. CITY SC doubled its advantage just before halftime, with Hosei Kijima netting his first MLS goal off a set piece delivery from Vassilev. The win marked St. Louis’ fourth win and fifth clean sheet at CITYPARK this season. CITY SC will head to Denver on Sunday for the second meeting of the season against Colorado Rapids.
