After yet another devastating torrential rain and flooding. The mayor of St Louis took to the streets to hear from residents impacted by the after mass.

The city of St Louis is fortunate to have sewage, basins and other drainage system that feed off two major rivers and other tributaries. But, damaging storms and rain, and melting snow can cause flooding. A devastating event that will immediately affect low lying areas of metro St Louis.

Mayor Tishaura Jones: (Twitter)

After another devastating storm, Public Safety Director Dr. Dan Isom and I headed to Kingsway West yesterday evening to hear from impacted residents and assess damage.

@STLCityGov is working hard to connect residents to support. Find resources at http://stlouis-mo.gov/flood. #stlwx
