NAAIA-STL Hosts A Powerful Celebration of Black Legacy and Future at ‘Still I Rise’ 2025.

National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA STL)

Greetings,
We extend a warm invitation to you to participate in the National African American Insurance Association St. Louis Chapter (NAAIA STL) Third Annual Black History Month celebration – STILL I RISE Scholarship Fundraiser. The event will take place on Thursday, February 27th, at 18Rails in Midtown St. Louis.

Join us for a reception from 5:30 pm – 6 pm, where you can connect with our members and board. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and a program from 6 pm – 6:45 pm, followed by an evening of networking, socializing, and dancing to the tunes of a live DJ until 10pm.

This year’s theme, ‘CELEBRATING OUR JOURNEY’, honors the insurance and financial services industry’s cultural impact. In this spirit, we present awards celebrating leadership, innovation, and equity. Scholarships will also be awarded during the event to support students pursuing careers in insurance and financial services, ensuring the next generation of professionals thrives in our industry.

We are proud to present:
The Colonel Clifton Gates Community Champion Award – Celebrating impactful effort to reduce economic inequality and foster growth in St. Louis.

The Diversity Executive Champion of the Year Award – Honoring leadership excellence and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The Emerging Leader Award – Recognizing innovative contributions within the insurance and financial services industry that inspire growth and foster positive change.

The NAAIA STL Chapter – Leadership Award – Honoring exceptional contributions to advancing the mission of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the community.

We invite you to join us as a sponsor for this meaningful event. Enclosed, you will find sponsorship and ticket information for our STILL I RISE Scholarship Fundraiser. Your support is vital to our mission of raising funds for scholarships that will help educate, empower, and attract a more diverse generation of insurance professionals.

Thank you for considering our invitation. We look forward to your support and hope to see you there as we honor outstanding professionals and celebrate this special occasion.

Warm regards,

Corey Tyson
President, NAAIA STL
