Join us at the People’s Community Action Corporation Annual Back-to-School Health and Wellness Community Resource Fair for free resources and fun activities!

St. Louis, MO – [July 19, 2024] – People’s Community Action Corporation is excited to invite the community to its annual Back-to-School Health and Wellness Community Resource Fair. The event will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, from 9 AM to 1 PM at People’s Health Center, located at 5701 Delmar Blvd.

This year’s family-friendly event aims to support and enhance the well-being of community members, especially women as they prepare for the new school year. Free health screenings and assessments will be offered on-site by experienced health professionals and experts who will also be available to answer health and wellness related questions.

“Although we are dedicated to improving the health of our entire community, we would like to take time to focus on the well-being of women. Back to school time is typically spent on focusing on our children as they prepare for the upcoming academic school year.  But here at People’s Health Center we want all women to focus on their physical and emotional well-being. We hope you can join us for screenings as well as giveaways as you take a moment away from life stressors and instead focus on health and beauty,” said Dr. Jacquelyn McFadden, Interim, Chief Medical Officer of Betty Jean Kerr People’s Health Centers.

The fair will also feature a variety of giveaways and activities for everyone. Families with children will receive free school supply kits, free braiding hair, vouchers for free haircuts and free gunlocks while supplies last. Children will enjoy a bounce house, rock climbing, face painting, an ice cream truck, snow cones, games, and toys.
