City Social STL
Suppose you were looking for city fun with great food and live performances. This was the experience that you wanted to be a part of. First stop downtown I stopped at a couple of local vendor tents such as Levels Nigerian Cuisine and for drinks Whiskey On Washington. The Wings was wanging and the drinks had me grooving all night with my lady. I know this is only one time a year but I wish St. Louis continued to have more festivals so we could experience more cultures and try some new foods.

Last year I was the videographer for one of the host vendors. However this year I got to attend as a blogger to give an honest and unbiased review. First and foremost the event was downtown STL and we didn’t have to travel to the outskirts of STL to attend. I was proud of the growth I saw in one of the hosted vendors who were the main owners of the expo. They managed to have 3 floors of the building fully occupied, and they had the outside full of vendors and a stage for live performances. Vendors had tools, equipment, flowers, oils, waxes, vapes, YOU NAME IT!

Annie Malone Parade
Jam the Shooter on the route of Annie Malone, representing Slate of St. Louis
This year probably was one of the hottest and I mean by the weather but so many organizations were a part of this year’s parade to give back to the community. I enjoyed myself this time as a bystander and seeing all the talent showcasing what they’ve been working on. I was working for Slate as well so I was in the parade handing out candy and water bottles to grandma’s that were out there in that HEAT!!! and some of the single moms who needed a cool-down break. But it was really all for the kids and only the kids.
