In a significant move during Men’s Health Awareness Month, Population Health and Social Justice Consulting, LLC is teaming up with AH TV! Network and certified first responders to offer free CPR training for men in the St. Louis metropolitan area. This powerful collaborative effort aims to educate and empower men with life-saving skills, underlining the importance of knowing CPR in emergencies. All participants will receive an American Heart Association Certification upon completion.
The free CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training sessions will cover essential CPR techniques, including chest compressions, rescue breaths, and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). Participants will also gain an understanding of the appropriate steps to take when someone experiences a cardiac emergency, emphasizing the importance of quick and effective intervention.
Statistics show that roughly 70% of Americans hesitate to perform CPR due to inadequate training or expired knowledge. CPR recertification should be renewed annually or biennially to ensure readiness. This initiative seeks to bridge this gap by equipping men with the knowledge and confidence to respond quickly and effectively in critical situations.
“Knowing CPR is crucial for everyone, including men,” emphasized Dr. Fredrick Echols, CEO and Founder of Population Health and Social Justice Consulting, LLC. “By providing free CPR training during Men’s Health Awareness Month, we are taking proactive steps to ensure that men are prepared to respond to emergencies and potentially save lives.”
The collaboration between Population Health and Social Justice Consulting, LLC, and AH TV! Network underscores a commitment to promoting health and well-being within the community. Through this partnership, men in the St. Louis area will have the opportunity to receive hands-on CPR training guided by certified instructors and healthcare professionals.
“Empowering men with CPR training aligns with our mission to support the health and safety of our community members,” said Andre Holman, CEO and Founder of AH TV! Network. “By
working together, we can make a meaningful impact and cultivate a culture of preparedness and care.”
As Men’s Health Awareness Month progresses, Population Health and Social Justice Consulting, LLC and the AH TV! Network are committed to ensuring that men in the St. Louis area have the resources and knowledge to respond confidently in emergencies.
