Viewers can attend Alderwoman Alisha Sonnier’s public hearing on October 8th at 3:00 PM to hear from Greater St. Louis about their proposal to use the Rams Settlement for revitalization efforts in Downtown and North St. Louis.

Dear St. Louis,

Earlier this year, the Board of Aldermen committed to hold hearings to explore the top ideas that our community voted for. So far, hearings have been held on (1) water infrastructure (2) redevelopment revolving loan fund (3) city worker pay and (4) traffic calming! Additionally, we have heard from leadership at the Convention Center and St. Louis Public Schools on how they would use Rams Settlement funds. At our last hearing on September 10th, Treasurer Adam Layne shared that the Rams Settlement Fund has $272 million dollars (and is still growing!).

What’s next: On Tuesday, October 8th at 3:00 PM, Alderwoman Alisha Sonnier, Chair of the Committee of the Whole has scheduled a public hearing where we will hear from Greater St. Louis, who is advocating for the Rams Settlement to be dedicated to efforts to catalyze Downtown and near North St. Louis revitalization through real estate development and street infrastructure. For a preview, take a look at their proposal submitted in the Ideas Portal and the 2020 Design Downtown Plan.
