Senator Karla May and the Urban League partner once again to offer a 3rd annual expungement clinic, providing second chances and criminal justice reform in Metropolitan St. Louis.
ST. LOUIS — Senator Karla May is proud to announce her 3rd Annual Expungement Clinic in partnership with the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis. The clinic is taking place this Saturday, June 29th from 10 AM to 2 PM at St. Louis Community College – Forest Park Campus.
Senator Karla May gave the following statement:
“I was proud to sponsor legislation last year that eliminated the filing fee associated with expungement petitions. After my legislation was signed into law last year, individuals now face fewer financial barriers when it comes to turning the page and expunging their record.”
The Expungement Clinic represents Senator May’s ongoing commitment to her constituents and fostering a fairer justice system.
