A new registry initiative is helping St. Louis businesses prepare, recover, and thrive after disaster strikes—find out how you can join.

In the wake of the devastating tornado that struck our beloved St. Louis, we stand united in both grief and resilience. The loss of life, homes, and businesses is heartbreaking-but this city has always risen from hardship with courage and community.

The Heartland St. Louis Black Chamber of Commerce is committed to ensuring that Black and minority-owned businesses are not left behind during the recovery and rebuilding efforts. This is our moment to not only rebuild St. Louis, but to do so in a way that is equitable and inclusive.

We are launching the **Disaster Recovery Business Registry**-an initiative designed to do two vital things:

1. Identify Black- and minority-owned businesses and the critical services they provide.

2. Connect businesses affected by the disaster with the resources, opportunities, and partnerships necessary to recover and thrive.

If you are a construction firm, architectural or engineering firm, printer, insurance broker, restaurant, caterer, landlord, transportation provider, artist, or any other type of business-we want to hear from you.

We also welcome:

– **Women-owned businesses**

– **Faith-based institutions**

– **Majority-owned businesses that are committed to supporting or partnering with diverse firms**

We’ve already engaged with key organizations including the City of St. Louis, the Governor’s Office, FEMA, Red Cross, Missouri Chamber of Commerce, Greater St. Louis Inc, the SBA, SLDC, and the St Louis Partnership.

By joining this registry, you will be first in line to receive important recovery updates, potential contract opportunities, and vital resources. Most importantly, your voice will help shape an inclusive rebuild of St. Louis that reflects the strength and talent of every part of our community.

**To register, please provide:**

– Company Name , Business Location Type of Business, Certifications ( MBE, WBE, Section 3 ) Contact Information

Let’s make sure recovery means everyone recovers-together.

Join the registry today. Help rebuild St. Louis.
