St. Louis has secured the rights to host the VEX Robotics World Championship in 2026 and 2027 at America’s Center, promising to be one of the region’s largest events with extensive hotel bookings and global participation.
While monitoring LinkedIn, I came across an exciting upcoming event in St. Louis. According to Explore St. Louis, St. Louis has secured the rights to host the Vex Robotics World Championship for two consecutive years, 2026 and 2027, an event expected to become one of the region’s largest in terms of hotel room bookings.
Officials announced that the championship will take place at the America’s Center Convention Complex in both years. The 2025 edition, set to be held in Dallas, will feature over 2,400 student robotics teams from the United States and more than 60 countries worldwide.
This is an exciting time for our spanking new, beautifully renovated America’s Center in downtown St. Louis. St. Louis has a rich history of hosting robotics events; I recall the First Robotics Championship held here in 2013. This is where America’s future engineers and scientists show their amazing stuff during the exciting match up of minds and metal. Admission to the World Series of teen robotics was free, fun and inspiring.
