The Argus News Online is committed to supporting local nonprofit organizations that positively impact the community, especially as the fall season approaches. This commitment includes a partnership with the Argus Community Foundation, a nonprofit entity. Furthermore, the news outlet collaborates with various agencies throughout the region, to extend its support and alliance.

Love For St. Louis, and here is their story:

Love For St. Louis is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded by Robert Joseph Grayson Jr in October 2019, that’s dedicated to providing mental health services to the Greater St. Louis area. Over the years, Love for St. Louis has transformed into a behavioral health practice committed to ensuring mental health services are accessible to all individuals, regardless of their financial situation.

Love For St. Louis believes in the importance of equitable access to mental healthcare. To achieve our mission, we have implemented a sliding scale for payments, allowing individuals to pay based on their income or ability to contribute. This ensures that cost is not a barrier to receiving the support they need. Additionally, the organization accepts insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare, so individuals with coverage can access services without additional financial burden. Furthermore, Love For St. Louis offers pro bono sessions for individuals who may not have the means to pay for counseling. These sessions are provided free of charge, with a multiple of 12 – when available. Our organization aims to reach those who are most in need and may not have access to insurance or financial resources.

Supported by fundraising efforts, donations, and partnerships, Love For St. Louis is grateful for the community’s support in expanding our services and making a greater impact in the lives of those we serve. Our team of highly qualified and compassionate mental health professionals provides a wide range of holistic therapeutic approaches and evidence-based treatments for various mental health concerns, including; autism, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, suicide ideation, mental disorders, LGBTQ+, crisis, PTSD, relationship issues, substance abuse, and more.

Our Mission

To provide equitable access to counseling services for all individuals in the Greater St. Louis area.

Our Vision

To create inclusive opportunities for individuals from all walks of life. We are dedicated to eliminating wait periods for those in urgent need of mental health services, with a particular focus on individuals at risk of suicide. By empowering these individuals, we envision a community characterized by reduced crime rates, and decreased instances of drug/alcohol abuse, suicide, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues resulting from trauma. Through our efforts, we strive to enhance overall well-being and foster a society where everyone has access to the support they need.

Please reach out to us if you need help and thank you for the support!
