Celebrate Black History Month at the “Blessed by the Ancestors” Art Exhibit in St. Louis
This Black History Month, immerse yourself in the creative brilliance and cultural heritage of Saint Louis’ Black artists at “Blessed by the Ancestors”. Held at the City Museum in St. Louis, Missouri, this powerful art exhibit runs from January 31 to April 30, 2025, showcasing the vibrant artistry of local talent.
Curated by renowned artist Brock Seals, the exhibit explores themes of identity, resilience, and ancestry through a variety of mediums, including paintings, sculptures, and mixed media pieces. Visitors can expect a rich tapestry of storytelling woven through the works of featured artists like B.toyaaa, Olivia NgOzitheflower, Maxy Arts, and Queniqua Davis, among others. The opening reception on Friday, January 31, from 6 PM to 8 PM, will be an unmissable opportunity to meet the artists and hear their stories.
