“Aye Verb means life, You can’t bring life to anything without Aye Verb.” That’s the answer that the legendary battle rapper Aye Verb gave when asked where his name comes from.

The St. Louis pioneer has poured his heart and soul into battling for many years now, putting St. Louis on the map and etching his name in stone as a Mount Rushmore of battle rap candidates.
Aye Verb is responsible for shedding light on some of the top Mc’s from St. Louis by starting the battle rap league “Word War” This platform was highly competitive where he took 9 of the best rappers in the city at that time including Juicezilla, RemyD, G Souldier, Yung Ill, Hitman Holla, and Blayz Up.

Back then, I was listening to rappers like Dip Set and how they painted pictures. Battle rappers are the most genius people in the world. we have a certain skill that nobody has.”
I asked Aye Verb what he thinks about people calling him the new Kevin Samuels. “I can’t be the new Kevin Samuels because I was talking like this before and it’s documented. Before yall even saw him, you can pull me up on the internet from 2013. People are in an uproar because the truth triggers a person period.” Aye Verb has numerous accolades under his belt including being on Eminem’s TV series “Total Slaughter” and on the BET awards.
