Discover how the St. Louis Argus has been delivering vital news and information to its readers for over 113 years.

It is no secret, historical archives reveal that The St. Louis ARGUS Newspaper continues to be the Oldest African American Owned Publishing Company West of the Mississippi.

How and Why has it survived?

Once quoted “An artistic excellency embodies the soul, the community is our art and journalism is the expression of many eyes, many voices, many minds”.

Thats the how, the why is, we are REALLY a collective of experiences for our audiences readership. To recalibrate the vision, the mission, and goals that still exists.

The Mitchell’s looking at us today they knew it, 113 years later the diversity the complexity of our stories, the communities, men, women the children and the eyes.
