Boys & Girls Clubs Kicks Off Exciting New Campaign: “STL Needs Club Kids- Club Kids Need You

Today, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) is excited to launch a new mid-year campaign titled “STL Needs Club Kids – Club Kids Need You,” which celebrates the impact of their programming.

“We are focusing on preparing our after-school programs to serve kids and teens. Each year, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis serve more than 18,000 youth. We see firsthand the value and impact of our programming and the opportunities it provides,” said President and CEO Brandon Williams. He further emphasized, ‘STL Needs Club Kids – and now, Club Kids Need You’ campaign is about helping everyone understand that young people are our future.” Now is the time to invest in them by enrolling a child or teen in after-school, summer camp, sports, or other BGCSTL activities, as well as becoming a volunteer, mentor, or donor.

The campaign is built on a simple idea: the America of tomorrow will be shaped by the way we invest in kids today. Boys & Girls Clubs play a critical role in opening doors for future generations. For over 50 years, the BGCSTL has been helping kids and teens succeed in school, build life skills, discover their passions, and grow into confident leaders.

With six locations and over 18 programs, BGCSTL has helped shape successful doctors, lawyers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and celebrities, among others. “STL Needs Club Kids – Club Kids Need You” serves as a reminder that the success of today’s youth affects all of us and that Boys & Girls Clubs are key to preparing young people to reach their full potential as community change makers.   St. Louis not only benefits from kids who grow up in Boys & Girls Clubs — STL needs Club Kids, and Club Kids need you.
