On Thursday October 17, 2024. The Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation in partnership with The Ivey Leaf Foundation along with the members of the Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and the Ladies of the Omicron Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc will host their third Bi-Annual Paragon Awards program at the Third-Degree Glass Factory located at 5200 Delmar Boulevard in the City of St. Louis.
This event will recognize African American men from the St. Louis Metropolitan area who are doing outstanding work in their respective walks of life who are doing amazing things for the communities of which they live and serve. This year’s event will highlight and bring attention to ten men ranging in areas of Education, Social Justice, Clergy, Entrepreneurship, First Responder, Non-Profit as well as Corporate and Business, Arts and Entertainment and Public Health. In addition to these areas a special lifetime achievement award will be presented to Mr. Art Holiday of KSDK News for his many years of service to the St. Louis Community.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Omicron Eta Omega Chapter
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® is the first intercollegiate Greek-lettered organization established by 20 African American college women. The organization was founded in 1908 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. The organization’s mission is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic, and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of “Service to All Mankind”. The Omicron Eta Omega Chapter was established in 1984 for alumni members in the St. Louis region. The chapter carries out the international organization’s programs locally.
Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation, Incorporated®
The Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 organization based in St. Louis, Missouri that works in partnership with local schools and community-based organizations. The organization’s mission is to serve the St. Louis community by promoting and uplifting the education of youth and the advancement of the community. This is carried forward through youth mentoring and development, including the Alpha Mentoring Program; fatherhood initiatives; and educational and community programs.
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated® Epsilon Lambda Chapter
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is the nation’s oldest African American intercollegiate organization. It was founded in 1906 by seven African American men on the Ivy League campus of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Its mission is to develop leaders and promote brotherhood and academic excellence while providing service and advocacy for its communities. The Epsilon Lambda Chapter was established in St. Louis in 1919 to carry out the mission of the organization in the local region
