From Halloween Fun to Brotherhood: Upsilon Omega Chapter Kicks Off Achievement Week with Community Spirit

Upsilon Omega Chapter celebrates community and fraternity spirit with a Trunk or Treat event to kick off Achievement Week.

The Upsilon Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., based in St. Louis, Missouri, is proud to present its highly anticipated Achievement Week, running from October 31st to November 17th, 2025. This extended celebration is packed with events that honor the fraternity’s legacy, foster brotherhood, and give back to the community. From Halloween festivities to trivia nights and food drives, the chapter has curated a diverse lineup of activities that embody the spirit of service and excellence.


A Week of Impactful Events

Friday, October 31st: Trunk or Treat Halloween Event
The celebration begins with a family-friendly Trunk or Treat event at The Omega Center (3900 Goodfellow Blvd, St. Louis, MO). From 5 PM to 8 PM, attendees can enjoy candy, music, games, and a food truck in a festive Halloween atmosphere. This free event is open to the community and promises fun for all ages, making it the perfect way to kick off Achievement Week.

Monday, November 10th: Turkey & Food Drive Happy Hour
The week continues with a charitable twist at Montrey’s Cigar Lounge in Ferguson, MO. Starting at 6 PM, attendees can enjoy Monday Night Football, music by DJ Nique Beatz, and a vibrant happy hour while contributing to the Turkey & Canned Food Drive. Donations of turkeys, hams, yams, cranberry sauce, and other Thanksgiving staples are encouraged, with a reminder to ensure all items are unexpired. This event combines fun and philanthropy, setting the tone for the week ahead.

Wednesday, November 12th: Rededication & Brotherhood Night
At 7 PM, members will gather at The Omega Center for a night dedicated to strengthening bonds and reaffirming their commitment to the fraternity’s values. This evening promises to be a meaningful celebration of brotherhood and unity.

Thursday, November 13th: Bingo Night
Get ready for a night of fun and friendly competition at The Omega Center. Starting at 6 PM, Bingo Night offers a chance to unwind and connect with fellow members and the community.

Saturday, November 15th: Omega Trivia Night
Trivia enthusiasts, this one’s for you! Doors open at 5 PM, with trivia kicking off at 6 PM at The Omega Center. Tickets are $25 per person or $200 per table, with prizes for the top three teams and exciting raffle giveaways. Attendees are encouraged to BYOB/BYOF (Bring Your Own Bottle/Food) for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. For tickets and more information, contact Spencer McCall at 314-853-0085.

Sunday, November 16th: Founders’ Day Banquet
The highlight of the week, the Founders’ Day Banquet, will take place at 2 PM at The Omega Center. This formal event honors the fraternity’s founders and their enduring legacy. Attendees can scan the QR code on the event flyer to secure their tickets.

Monday, November 17th: Social Action & Founders’ Day Party
The week concludes with a day of giving and celebration. At 1 PM, the chapter will host a Thanksgiving Turkey & Food Distribution at The Omega Center, ensuring local families have what they need for the holiday season. Later that evening, the Founders’ Day Party kicks off at 7:11 PM, featuring music by DJ Juice, a food truck, and a lively atmosphere. This BYOB/BYOF event promises to end the week on a high note.
