SAN JOSE, CA (September 21, 2024) – St. Louis CITY SC earned their first road win of the season after defeating San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 at PayPal Park on Saturday night. Cedric Teuchert and Marcel Hartel scored for CITY SC early in the first half before Jeremy Ebobisse tallied a goal for San Jose in the 40th minute. The goal marked Teuchert’s fourth MLS goal of the season. Jannes Horn recorded his first career MLS assist on the strike. Earning an assist along with his penalty goal, Hartel now has two goals and five assists through his first five MLS matches.
