Located near the Central West End, and a few blocks from Delmar Divine.The late-great Betty Jean Kerr prized health palace People’s Health Center has been serving the community for many years.

And with 4 locations in the metro St. Louis area, it is not hard to find help when you need it. In addition to quality care for it’s patients, they also are there to support the community.

It could be a food drive, health fair or a holiday event. On Saturday, the center presents its annual MLK Youth Fest ’23.

January 14, 2023

12 p.m.-3 p.m.

Betty Jean Kerr People’s Health Center, 5701 Delmar Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63112

There will be a dance performance by St. Louis Dazzling Diamonds, and music by DJ Bounce.

They also will be providing lunch for participants and the volunteers, with surprise attendance gifts.

The highlight will feature a community conversation about youth violence and crime.There will be a workshop experience for the youth and adults.

Youth workshops features mental health, dealing with bullying, suicide and depression.While adult session topics talks about gun safety in the home with Curtis Smith of 3 Tier Defense, Incarceration and Advocating for your child.

Panel discussion facilitated by Pastor Breonna Hawkins, with panelist that includes Keely Finney, LCSW; Rejuvenating Comprehensive Services, Dr.Lakesha Thomas-Davis, PhD, LPC, Vice President of Behavioral Health Services, Amanda Luckett of Murphy Hopewell Center and a few others.

Centennial Christian Church is one of the featured sponsors as well as many others.
