This career fair is designed to showcase the exceptional talent emerging from MOKAN’s Pre-Apprenticeship Program. Over the course of 10 weeks, these dedicated students have undergone rigorous training, both theoretical and hands-on, to prepare them for careers in the construction trade. Each graduate brings a wealth of skills and certifications to the table, including:

120 Hours of Essential Life Skills and Work Ethics Training

72 Hours of Hands-On Tools Training

OSHA 10 Certification

First Aid and CPR Certification

Blueprint and Spec Reading Application

Drug Testing (Clean and Clear, Tested Twice)

In addition to these core competencies, the program has recently expanded to include specialized training in:

Confined Space Operations

Forklift Operations

Flagger Training

Work Zone Technician Training

Workplace Violence Education

Why Employers Should Attend
For companies seeking skilled, motivated, and job-ready candidates, this event is a must-attend. Participating employers will have the opportunity to meet and interview pre-apprenticeship graduates who are eager to contribute to the workforce. Each graduate has been equipped with the tools, knowledge, and certifications necessary to excel in the construction industry.

Employers are encouraged to bring company brochures, applications for tradespersons, and, most importantly, an attitude ready to hire qualified candidates. Each company will be provided with a table and two chairs for representatives, as well as access to a private room for more in-depth interviews upon request.

Participation Requirements
To participate in the Career Fair, companies must have hiring needs within the next three months. This ensures that the event remains focused on connecting graduates with immediate opportunities.

RSVP and Contact Information
Employers interested in attending are encouraged to confirm their participation as soon as possible. For questions or additional information, please contact Yaphett El-Amin, Executive Director of MOKAN, at 314.454.9675.
