Born on May 20, 1971, Tammie was a reality star and Emmy-nominated journalist whose kind, warm, and infectious presence brought joy to countless listeners. Her signature laugh will be remembered forever.
As a media veteran, Tammie touched many lives through her work in radio, TV, acting, and podcasting. Her show, “This Week With Tammie Holland,” sponsored by the law firm Brown & Crouppen, showcased her prolific writing and genuine class. Tammie was real, a loving mother to her talented daughter Meadow, and a beautiful person inside and out.
In June, the beloved St. Louis Emmy Award-nominated media personality announced that she was electing to go to hospice after finding out that cancer had been detected in her brain. Tammie had bravely battled colon cancer, choosing to take her followers and fans along on the journey. In her post, she stated that she had turned down some treatments and had chosen to do the rest of her journey her way.
Tammie is revered in St. Louis, having started her career in radio. She was a fighter who lifted us all up through her private battles with cancer. This morning, in a post on social media, Tammie’s family announced that she passed away from cancer on July 20, 2024.
