he St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund is promoting their second annual Welleducator event in St. Louis. The executive director Emily Koenig, and the school-based services program specialist, Heather Fullerton, joined our host Mary Caltrider in the studio Monday morning to share a little about who they are and details about the event.

WellEducator STL is a free day of wellness and appreciation for educators, administrators, bus drivers, custodial staff, school counselors, and other staff members who devote themselves to working with children in schools throughout St. Louis City and St. Louis County. The event is sponsored by the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund, which funds mental and behavioral health organizations for children and families in the region, alongside the Saint Louis Mental Health Board.

The event takes place on Saturday, October 14, at St. Louis Community College’s Forest Park campus. Attendees can expect a complimentary breakfast and lunch, and a variety of wellness sessions including yoga, cooking demonstrations, and more. There will also be booths catered to providing different resources and information for other behavioral and mental health organizations and wellness activities.

Sound interested? Registration is currently open and will close at midnight on October 10. You can reserve your spot online by visiting this website. The event is completely free for anyone who works in schools as a way to show gratitude for everything administrators and educators do for the youth in our community.
