KANSAS CITY, Mo. —
Kansas City’s Westport district will add seven new late-night venues along Westport Road and the horseshoe parking lot off Pennsylvania, led by Westport Bars KC Group.
The new venues will be interconnected along Westport Road and Pennsylvania Avenue.
The grand opening is scheduled for July 19 with two bars. Additional venues are set to debut in August and within the next year.
The lineup includes Westport Bar and Rec, Westport Landing, The Patio, Jungalow, Uncle Jim’s Pool Hall, The Horseshoe, and a full-service food truck.
“We’re incredibly grateful for these opportunities and proud to be part of Westport since 2016,” said Brett Allred, owner of Westport Bars KC. “Our mission is to connect people through entertainment and positively impact the lives of our employees, customers, and the community.”
A news release says the expansion will increase the district’s capacity by over 3,500 patrons and create 250 new jobs.
