ST. LOUIS — The First Ladies of St. Louis, a coalition of 36 pastors’ wives from churches across the region, will host the Fifth Annual Health Empowerment Seminar on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Greater Grace Church, 3690 Pershall Rd. in Ferguson.

The seminar will provide free, critical health screenings and vaccinations to help residents address major health burdens. New this year are head and neck exams (including oral exams) and eye exams, in addition to screenings and tests for glucose, hemoglobin A1C, cholesterol, blood pressure, prostate, colorectal and breast cancer. The Siteman Cancer Center mammography van will be on site for mammograms; appointments are available at 800-600-3606, option 2.

The PECaD Health on the Move van will also be available for tours, giving visitors a look at how mobile care reaches communities.

A major feature this year will be information about the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act, or RECA, including eligibility details and its impact on St. Louis-area residents.

Join us for a day dedicated to your health and well-being! Enjoy free flu shots, connect with trusted health experts and take-home valuable resources to support your wellness journey. In-person guests will receive a complimentary lunch from Pickleman’s and fun giveaways (while supplies last). Can’t make it in person? Register in advance to join virtually!
