ST. LOUIS, MO — The Ecumenical Leadership Council of Missouri (ELC) will host its 5th Annual Black Tie Ball on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Phyllis Wheatley Heritage Center, 2711 Locust Street in St. Louis.
Under the theme “Rooted in Faith, Equipped to Serve,” this year’s celebration will showcase the “Hidden Gems of St. Louis,” recognizing individuals whose leadership, compassion, and dedication continue to strengthen neighborhoods and improve lives throughout the region.
The evening’s keynote speaker will be Rev. Robert Loyd, Sr., Senior Pastor of Calvary Bible Church of Florissant, who will bring a message centered on faith, leadership, and the responsibility of serving others.
This year’s distinguished honorees include Nate Griffin, Mayor of Wellston; Keisha Lee, CEO of Annie Malone Children and Family Services; Ollie Stewart, community advocate; and Bonnie Reece, Executive Director of Hope House STL. Each represents a commitment to meaningful community engagement and service.
A special tribute will recognize Reggie Jones, Mayor of Dellwood, for his contributions to civic leadership. Jami Ballentine will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies, guiding guests through an evening of recognition and celebration.
Individual tickets are $125, while tables of eight are available for $1,000, including one advertisement at a 50% discount. Advertising opportunities are also available, with full-page advertisements priced at $1,200, half-page advertisements at $600, and quarter-page advertisements at $300.
Beyond the formal recognition, the gathering offers an opportunity for neighbors, faith organizations, and local institutions to connect around a shared commitment to service. The celebration places community advocates alongside elected officials and nonprofit leaders, emphasizing the many ways people contribute to the region.
The Ecumenical Leadership Council invites clergy, civic leaders, business professionals, and community members to attend and celebrate those making a difference.
