The comic book industry has been a billion-dollar industry in recent years, but it hasn’t always been as inclusive as it should be with women, especially women of color, often overlooked. Artist and author Jazmin Truesdale created AZA Comics, with diverse series featuring women of various colors, shapes and backgrounds.
