2023 Marks the 40th Anniversary of Better Family Life, Inc.!
Since the first gathering with some African American students enrolled in a West African dance class at Washington University in 1983, BFL has been working tirelessly to improve the lives of families in our most neglected communities, You, the community have played a crucial part in BFL’s history of endurance, our continuing faith in the face of adversity and ongoing commitment to service. And now it’s time to Celebrate!
At this year’s Unity Ball we honor your role in the story telling as we reflect and celebrate what we have accomplished together over 40 years!
This year’s event will be a Masquerade Ball. The theme “Then, Now and Next” reflects our journey together as community partners. Join us at the Ritz-Carlton hotel for an incredible evening of celebration and entertainment! Sponsorship packages start at $2,500 and you will want to reserve your table early this year as Missouri’s 1st District Congresswoman, Cori Bush will be our Keynote Speaker and KSDK’s Rene Knott joins us as Master of Ceremonies. The Dirty Muggs Band will perform.
Three awards will be presented throughout the evening for past, present and future community conduits of service, justice and advocacy as we pause a moment amongst the festivities to reflect on how far we’ve come with your support and to discover what challenges, and triumphs lie ahead.
