As we close out 2024 and reflect on the year. It’s time for everyone to set plans and goals for 2025 New Year’s resolutions have always been an important factor in focusing on what’s important to you moving forward. 

The pandemic has taught us that we shouldn’t take our Health and wellness for granted. Here are some of the top New Year’s Resolutions for Blacks to think about as they map out their upcoming year.

Build a Budget

This is a very important New Year’s resolution that will help you the most in the long run.. Take time out of your day to outline a rough budget that works for you to help you save money. Make a plan for how you’ll stick to it. There are numerous budgeting apps that can assist you along the way.

Plan A Vacation

It is documented that people who vacation at least twice a year have a lower heart attack risk and lower stress than those who do so rarely. Researchers have found that even thinking and planning trips allows individuals to have a better outlook on life.

Attempt A New Career

Even though the pandemic impacted work routines, it opened up doors for people to become entrepreneurs. There are many ways and opportunities out there to effectively move into the next phase of your life. Find out what you are gifted and talented in and embark on that journey.

Consider Therapy

As a society, we always lean on our family and friends for support. For the start of 2023, Make a move to unpack your baggage or address your mental health. There are plenty of care providers and therapists that can help guide you along the way.

Try a Guided Workout

Exercise is always on everyone’s New Years’ resolution list. For this upcoming year, try a new guided workout routine. You don’t have to worry about spending a lot of money on fitness instructors. YouTube has a ton of videos from qualified experts that can get you in shape. Everything from dance classes to workouts.

Try A New Diet Plan

With diabetes and high blood pressure at an all-time high, eating healthy is very important to help you stay alive. Try a new diet plan with wholesome plates packed with fiber, nutrients, and plenty of greens. There are many popular diets that you can try.
