NoCoastL hosted a Freestyle Rap Battle on August 6th at Pop’s Blue Moon. I was selected to be a judge for this lyrical competition that was put on by battle rap No Coast League Owner “Shake.”

The competition was fierce as Riley B set out to defend his Nocoastl Freestyle Championship. Cash Flow made it to the final round to battle Riley B as they put on a classic back-and-forth battle for the ages.
The environment was a great crowd of people who came out to hear phenomenal lyrics and support the battle rap culture.

There were delicious handmade pizzas from the kitchen and plenty of drink choices for the audience at the bar.
This event truly showed that the St. Louis hip hop scene is still alive and breathing on the underground circuit.
