These officers will help guide the Board’s governance work and support the district’s ongoing efforts to strengthen outcomes for students, families, and the broader SLPS community. In addition to its newly elected officers, the Board of Education includes the following members:
Donna Jones, Emily Hubbard, Tracy Hykes, and Dr. Robert S. Harvey.

Together, the Board, as currently constituted, enters this next chapter with a shared commitment to responsible financial stewardship, ensuring that resources are aligned to support student success and long-term district sustainability.
The Board is equally focused on preparing Saint Louis Public Schools (SLPS) for a future shaped by evolving enrollment patterns, shifting community needs, and the imperative to deliver high-quality educational experiences for every student.

Recognizing both past challenges and present-day realities, Board leadership emphasized the importance of working collaboratively to address issues that have affected the district over time—while also acknowledging that some of these matters remain active concerns today. In response, the Board is
committed to strengthening its partnership with families, educators, staff, and community stakeholders to develop solutions that are transparent, inclusive, and responsive.

“The work ahead requires not only strong governance, but also deep engagement with the community we serve,” said Dr. Collins-Adams. “We are
committed to providing quality schools, a solid budget, clean audits, and return to full accreditation.”
The Board of Education will continue to prioritize clear communication, thoughtful decision-making, and meaningful collaboration as it advances the
    district’s mission and vision.
