Mikala McGhee of St. Louis was crowned Miss Missouri USA 2022 on 1st May 2022 at The Mansion Theatre for the Performing Arts in Branson, Missouri. She succeeds Miss Missouri USA 2021 Joye Forrest and will represent Missouri for the title of Miss USA 2022.
Mikala McGhee gave an outstanding performance at the state pageant. She studied Public Relations at George Mason University and studied Law and Administration at Florida Gulf Coast University. She is also the founder of More Miracles STL, a faith-based organization striving to mend, rebuild, & develop strong family units in the St. Louis region, providing resources & financial assistance.
Miss Missouri USA 2022 Mikala McGhee’s court included –
1st Runner-up – Autumn Black
2nd Runner-up – Victoria Owen
3rd Runner-up – Sydney Wilhelm
4th Runner-up – Adrienne Burfield
Top 16 also included Brittany Evans (also Miss Congeniality), Varonica Hamilton, Madison Horner, Julie Stewart, Arina Davani, Ashleigh Bedwell, Alexandria Peebles, Jasmine Wells, Tyler Prugh, Ashlyn Hoock, Claudia Kelly (also Miss Photogenic).
Also at the finale, Shae Smith was crowned Miss Missouri Teen USA 2022 and will represent Missouri at Miss Teen USA 2022. Karma Vaughn, Sophie Schilling, Bri Foli and Madonna DiMartino were adjudged first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively.
