What is KHAOS?
The mindset was created in 2009 and became a nonprofit profit in 2015 KHAOS (Keep Healing and Overcoming Struggles) is a movement with a clear mission to empower individuals and communities dealing with the lingering effects of toxic and traumatic stress. KHAOS draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Relationship Trauma Repair (RTR), and mindfulness techniques to offer a holistic approach to mental wellbeing.
The KHAOS program prioritizes youth between the ages of 8-18. Their signature Organized KHAOS initiative provides young people with tools for coping, self-discovery, and resilience.
The program’s success has led to its expansion into various settings. Dr. Cox has further adapted it for specific needs through programs like KHAOS KIDS for schools and KHAOS KOPS within law enforcement.
