HBCU Bobblehead Series Expanded to Include 29 Black College Mascots.

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has taken a significant step in celebrating the rich history of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) by unveiling its second HBCU Bobblehead Series. Comprising 16 officially licensed bobbleheads representing HBCUs, this release follows the Museum’s successful launch of the initial series in February, which featured bobbleheads for 13 HBCU schools.

These collectibles are a collaboration between the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum and HBCUs, coinciding with the commencement of the 2023-24 academic year.  

The schools featured in this latest series are Albany State University Rams, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania Wolves, Clark Atlanta University Panthers, Coppin State University Eagles, Elizabeth City State University Vikings, Fayetteville State University Broncos, Florida A&M University Rattlers, Morehouse College Maroon Tigers, North Carolina A&T University Aggies, Prairie View A&M University Panthers, South Carolina State University Bulldogs, Southern University Jaguars, Virginia State University Trojans, and Winston-Salem State University Rams.

Remarkably, this collection includes the female mascots for Florida A&M University and North Carolina A&T University.  Each mascot bobblehead proudly dons the school’s colors, standing on a base featuring the school’s nickname.

These limited-edition bobbleheads are individually numbered to 2,023 and are exclusively available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store for $35 each, with a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order. Importantly, a portion of the sales revenue goes directly to the respective HBCUs, providing support to these institutions.
