Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. It requires discipline, risk, vision, and the courage to move when others hesitate. That spirit defines Dacia Betts—and it anchors her new business column, Place Your Betts.
Dacia Betts is a seasoned entrepreneur, strategist, and executive leader with more than two decades of experience building and scaling companies across logistics, transportation, workforce development, staffing, executive protection, and professional services
She is not theorizing from the sidelines. She has built operations from the ground up, managed compliance-heavy industries, secured national contracts, and created income pathways for independent contractors and small operators.
As President and CEO of G5 Logistic Solutions and G5 Logistic Transport, Dacia oversees regional and over-the-road transportation operations, including last-mile delivery, non-emergency medical transportation, and B2B logistics partnerships
Her leadership emphasizes DOT compliance, safety-first systems, operational discipline, and scalable growth. Through G5 Express Rentals, she has also expanded access to vehicles for rideshare and delivery drivers—creating practical solutions that help workers generate income and build stability
Her background extends beyond logistics. Dacia previously founded an internet-based Institute of Technology that provided certifications in healthcare, IT, and renewable energy, and she served as a Registered Apprenticeship Partner with the U.S. Department of Labor—connecting training directly to employment pipelines
That through-line—build capacity, create opportunity, execute with discipline—defines her career.
Place Your Betts brings that same philosophy to the business community.
This column is focused on strengthening business capacity through shared wisdom, practical strategy, and operational insight. It will examine compliance, cash flow discipline, contract readiness, risk mitigation, scaling strategy, leadership mindset, and workforce development—without jargon and without fluff. The goal is simple: equip business owners with tools they can apply immediately.
Each week, Place Your Betts will also spotlight a business entity—highlighting innovation, resilience, and lessons learned. These features are designed not just to celebrate success, but to extract insight that others can replicate.
Small and mid-sized businesses remain the backbone of this country. They generate jobs, fuel local economies, and stabilize communities. Yet too often, they operate without access to strategic counsel that larger corporations take for granted.
This platform exists to close that gap.
Dacia Betts understands risk. More importantly, she understands how to manage it, scale beyond it, and build sustainable systems that last. In Place Your Betts, she invites entrepreneurs to do the same—step forward with clarity, discipline, and the confidence to bet on themselves.
