Join us for a special public hearing on May 7th as the Board of Alderman explores the potential use of the Rams Settlement for funding infrastructure.
Earlier this year, the Chair of the Board of Aldermen’s Committee of the Whole committed to hold hearings to explore the top ideas that our community voted for.
Those ideas include:
Traffic Calming and Pedestrian-Friendly Street Design
Increasing Wages or Salaries for City Workers
Free or Subsidized Child Care for Residents
Establish a Redevelopment Revolving Loan Fund
Next week on Tuesday, May 7th, at 3:30pm the Board of Alderman will hold a public hearing dedicated to exploring the use of the Rams Settlement for funding infrastructure. We will be joined by Curt Skouby, Director of Public Utilities of St. Louis. Learn more about how to participate: https://www.stlouis-mo.gov/events/eventdetails.cfm?Event_ID=43013
We welcome you to join us in person at City Hall or online via Zoom and to share your thoughts either through spoken or written comments. With appreciation, the City of St. Louis.

P.S. Did you see the news that the St. Louis County Council (not us!) voted to spend some of their Rams Settlement? “The St. Louis County Council approved using $40 million in NFL Rams settlement money to repair roads and sidewalks in unincorporated county subdivisions.” May 1, 2024.
